Won't install admin part of the component

[scifivision]

I tried twice to install it, and I get this error:

as well as a warning for "building admin menus"

The plugin with options however works and I can set it up, but I can't get to the image manager or templates. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I'm using Joomla 3.2.4

I have no idea what any of the error means to even go about trying to fix things. I think this component will work perfect for me - but I need to change the template because it's got a horrible border around it and the space between images needs changed.

I will check with he latest Joomla and see what is the problem. Didn't see it before, so not much I can advise at the moment.
