Error in backend when saving articles

#1 Post by Bifford »

I'm in the process of porting articles from the old site to the new site. One page has a gallery of images at the bottom. With the {AG options here}Folder{/AG} built in to the article I get the following errors every time I save the article. I then have to delete all of the URL past the basic administrator part to go back to the admin for the site. Some of the thumbnails show up but some have a cross (the image will load fine if clicking on the X).

Warning: require(plugins/content/admirorgallery/AdmirorGallery/popups/fancybox/index.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/sifsskhn/public_html/newseaxe/plugins/content/admirorgallery/AdmirorGallery/classes/agGallery.php on line 291

Warning: require(plugins/content/admirorgallery/AdmirorGallery/popups/fancybox/index.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/sifsskhn/public_html/newseaxe/plugins/content/admirorgallery/AdmirorGallery/classes/agGallery.php on line 291

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'plugins/content/admirorgallery/AdmirorGallery/popups/fancybox/index.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/sifsskhn/public_html/newseaxe/plugins/content/admirorgallery/AdmirorGallery/classes/agGallery.php on line 291

I've checked the directory and index.php and agGallery.php are both present.

What am I missing?

Hmm as I can see there is a problem with FancyBox.
Can you try to change the popup to, for example slimbox?

For some reason it cannot include index.php from fancybox folder, permissions maybe?

Warning: require(plugins/content/admirorgallery/AdmirorGallery/popups/slimbox/index.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/sifsskhn/public_html/newseaxe/plugins/content/admirorgallery/AdmirorGallery/classes/agGallery.php on line 291

Same with slimbox.

This is with slimbox chosen in the control panel of the back end.

In the article I have the following:

{AG thumbHeight="75" thumbAutoSize="width" highliteColor="fea804" frame_width="500" frame_height="300" newImageTag="0" paginUse="0" showSignature="0" template="classic"}LARP_page_Showcase{/AG}

which was produced using the ag_admirorgallery button from within the article editor (and un-required tags stripped out).

Same happens with pirobox:

Warning: require(plugins/content/admirorgallery/AdmirorGallery/popups/pirobox/index.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/sifsskhn/public_html/newseaxe/plugins/content/admirorgallery/AdmirorGallery/classes/agGallery.php on line 291

I'm beginning to think it's nothing to do with the popups but instead something to do with saving any article that has AG within it?

Looks like popup folder is not accessible for include for some reason.

Can you check if popup folder is present, are permissions OK?

Error is that agGallery cannot include index.php from popup folder.

All present and correct. and all permissions set to 755 - the same as all folders on the server.

OK we need to turn to serious debugging :)

Can you add :

Code: Select all

print_r(getcwd());
in agGallery before :

Code: Select all

require ('plugins' . DS . 'content' . DS . 'admirorgallery' . DS . 'AdmirorGallery' . DS . 'popups' . DS . $this->params['popupEngine'] . DS . 'index.php');
It should output :

Code: Select all

/home/sifsskhn/public_html/newseaxe/
If not, when that is the problem :)

If yes, I think it is better to send me access info so I could check some more.

Edit:
You may also try to change the current require line into:

Code: Select all

require 'plugins' . DS . 'content' . DS . 'admirorgallery' . DS . 'AdmirorGallery' . DS . 'popups' . DS . $this->params['popupEngine'] . DS . 'index.php';
(brackets removed)
This way code just gets included and executed after. This might help in case some hosting limitations. It is a long shot, but currently I have no better idea.

/home/sifsskhn/public_html/newseaxe

is indeed what it displays.

I also tried the second solution. Same errors.

So in my admin backend, go to Articles. Then select "About Seaxe" in the Category drop down and then "Introducing LARP" to bring up the relevant article. The AG code is at the bottom. Simply press "Save" or "Save and Close" to bring up the page with the errors on. (Then click back to return to the last page then hit "Close" to exit that.

Log in details emailed to you.
