J 2.5.3 errors...

Hi,
i installed the latest 4.1 plugin and received this error:
Fatal error: Class 'JSite' not found in /var/www/html/hrj25/plugins/content/admirorgallery/AdmirorGallery/classes/agGallery.php on line 359
when i try to save the article with {AG}foldername{/AG} in joomla.

I have commented this "if" in agGallery.php and then received the errors mentioned here

Then (you're smiling i know it ) i did this, as mentioned on the above link "in database in table "_extension" name of element shoud be "AdmirorGallery" (was "admirorgallery")"

Still nothing

Then, i disabled the plugin, and saved the article, enabled the plugin and the gallery is working with no errors in backend - which is very strange

The first JSite not found error is still a problem (i just commented some code not to get an error) - how to fix this?

And, if you could explain what went wrong with all of the above, i would be thankful...

Hi i am having similar issues, i am very new to Joomla and found the demo of this plugin great hence wanting to use it for my client, the errors i am getting are as follows

Strict Standards: Only variables should be assigned by reference in C:\xampp\htdocs\Joomla25\plugins\content\admirorgallery\admirorgallery.php on line 31

Strict Standards: Non-static method JSite::getMenu() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in C:\xampp\htdocs\Joomla25\plugins\content\admirorgallery\AdmirorGallery\classes\agGallery.php on line 359

Strict Standards: Non-static method JApplication::getMenu() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in C:\xampp\htdocs\Joomla25\includes\application.php on line 540

Please can you shed some light on this for me, i have only jusy downloaded the plugin from your site and installed it and followed the instructions (as far as im aware)

Well you should turn off Strict Standards errors

I do have error_reporting turned on on my wamp, but Strict Standards was not included so I didn't know there are errors.
