Beginner: I have all my images stored on a web server

Can I set Admiror to use my images that are stored on remote server ?
for example change the default path : /images/stories/
to, say : http://227.17.258.248/~odtyu/photo_album_1/images

No, this is not supported. Default Path is relative to the domain the site is on: [sitepath]/images/stories

But maybe in next releases this could be added We will think about this.
