Problems in Gallery View layout

#1 Post by zolcsimus »

Hi guys this is a great plugin I just need some help to make it work properly.

1.st From the backend when I click on image manager a white page comes up there is nothing there how can I access the image manager? I managed to do that from the front end.. but Its really uncomfortable to me.

2nd. in gallery view when I load the article where I called in the gallery and I also chose the album layout it tries to load the gallery there when it should not because its should only show the albums..
But when I click one of the albums thats when it should load in pop up lightbox way but it is all wrong..
Please help me how to make it work properly and it seems the plugins are not working on it.. no matter what I setup "Fancybox" or pirobox or slimbox it ignores it.. I want to load the way in slimbox any other layout loads.. And I want to remove the empty black gallery from the page when the albums are.

To understand the problem better take a look at this.. : http://www.smithdcc.com/new/index.php?o ... :frontpage

thank you!
I hope I can get help with that :)

I applied the margin: 0 auto !important; on .gallery class and now its centered but still the height I cant make it responsive.
Any idea?

Also http://www.smithdcc.com/new/index.php?o ... :frontpage
its showing up there when it should not.. I want to call in the gallery slider when someone click on one of the albums and to pop up slimbox style as well, not just go into a new page..

For making gallery more responsive, I cannot be of much help, I'm just a programmer and my designer skills are not so good :)

As for the appearance of the gallery View here: http://www.smithdcc.com/new/index.php?o ... Itemid=307

You should edit index.php found in plugins/content/admirorgallery/admirorgallery/templates/galleryview/ folder. Somewhere at the top before the HTML is created a check if(images.size>0) don't output gallery :)

I think we had a similar problem here on the forum, you can try to search it for exact solution.

HI thank you for the answer :)

However I put the code you mentioned but still showing it.
here is what I have in the index.php

if(images.size>0) {
}
else {

$html='<div id="AG_'.$AG->getGalleryID().'" class="ag_reseter AG_galleryView">
<ul id="photos" class="galleryview">
';

foreach ($AG->images as $imageKey => $imageName)
{
$html.= '

<li>
'.$AG->writeThumb($imageName).'
<div class="panel-content">
<img src="'.$AG->sitePath.$AG->params['rootFolder'].$AG->imagesFolderName.'/'.$imageName.'" alt="big image" />
<div class="panel-overlay">
'.$AG->writeDescription($imageName).'
</div>
</div>
</li>
';
}
$html .='
</ul>
</div>
';
}

// Support for Pagination
$html.= $AG->writePagination();

// Support for Albums
if(!empty($AG->folders) && $AG->params['albumUse']){
$html.= '<h1>'.JText::_( 'Albums' ).'</h1>'."\n";
$html.= $AG->writeFolderThumb("albums/album.png",$AG->params['thumbHeight']);
}

Can you give me an exact code? also how can I make it to use lightbox popup instead of just making a new page and load the gallery there?
That would be really helpful.

thank you!
