How can I centre the gallery on my joomla page

Hi. I've downloaded Admiror Gallery and got it working on my website. I think it's a great product and the gallery view is what I like - fed up with those pop-up lightboxes.

Anyway. My problem is that the gallery is always left-justified and I would like it centred. I have looked through other articles about centering on this forum but none seem to be resolved, or if they are, then they are extremely cryptic. So I've posted a new question as I'm also using the latest version 5

In my Joomla article I have the following code...

{AG}/gallery/Concept/Umbrella{/AG}
</div>

and GalleryMove is the portion of my CSS code which is...

float: none;
display: block;
width: 623px;
margin: 0 auto;
}

I am relatively new to CSS and HTML so please try and keep your replies easy to understand. I've browsed a lot of articles elsewhere on the web, mostly about "margin: 0 auto;" and most of them don't work I don't really know if I need the float/display/width parameters in my CSS, I was just trying everything that I had read about So please don't just read it and criticise it, I'd greatly appreciate positive answers and I'm willing to try whatever you post as long as I can understand it
