Admin 500 Internal Error

Every time I add {AG}imagefolder{/AG} to an article and try to do something in the backend with it whether it is save and close or trash the article I get a 500 Internal Server Error.

How can I fix this? Would really like to use this gallery.

Running Joomla! 2.5.8

Is the article saved, even if the error occurs?
