[BUG] Image manager image root problem

I found a bug in the admin. If you change the images root folder in the control panel and than go to the image manager it still shows the default /images/sampledata
I'm not sure where I would look to fix this in the code. If you can point me in the right direction I'd be more than happy to take a look and see if I can figure out the fix

Hmm, this must be caused by the problem with parameters we have. So if you have any experience with it it would be very helpful
The problem seems to be here : administrator\components\com_admirorgallery\views\imagemanager\tmpl\default.php
Parameters are not in use any more but it tries to load Image Root Path from them. (Line 14)
I will fix this ass soon as I find some time.
Also, I see that there is some problems with language files, but that is for another topic

That'll teach me to post a new topic before checking if the problem is already known about...I will now delete my effectively duplicate thread! lol

Well it was not completely the same problem if we include the problem with thumbnails you mentioned
It seems that, for some reason, to every thumb image on your site there is "%0A%09%09%20%20%20%20" added to the path.
Code: Select all
<img class="ag_imageThumb" alt="Myungs-Wedding-Joint-Photograph-with-Chris-Andrew.jpg" src="http://www.byfordphotos.co.uk/plugins/content/admirorgallery/AdmirorGallery/thumbs/Portraits/Myungs-Wedding-Joint-Photograph-with-Chris-Andrew.jpg%0A%09%09%20%20%20%20">
I don't know why this is happening, it might be something to do with some other plugin or component that you have installed, or maybe even some template option. I'm just guessing, it could also be a problem with Admiror Gallery template if you made some changes in it.

Uninstalled and reinstalled AG and the same is happening. Most curious. I shall delve deeper into the problem over the next day or so and see if I can't fathom it.
Also tried uploading new images but with the same results.
Oh, and as you probably guessed this is a clean Joomla install using Gantry 4.x so there is hardly anything added in to the mix at all!

Well it seems that template is not the problem, because the HTML code comes from agGallery class.
So there may be a problem when listing the folder content (for some reason TAB and SPACE is included in the filename) or it might be that line 167:
Code: Select all
" alt="' . strip_tags($this->descArray[$image]) . '" class="ag_imageThumb">
in agGallery.php, strip_tags function actually that produces this extra string at the end of the filename.
Can you try to remove strip_tags at this line, just use :
Code: Select all
" alt="' .$this->descArray[$image]. '" class="ag_imageThumb">
Let me know if this made any difference.
I searched the net for possibile problems with strip_tags and didn't find anything. At my end this is not happening.

I'm afraid it has not helped :/
I made sure also that some of the filenames have no spaces in them - either by being just one word, or through the use of _ or - and they don't load either.
Check the website again by all means (there's more pages and images up now).

Is there a option to let me access you back end? To check and see what is going on?
