ita xlation - with troubles

I've made italian xlate by touching he right files, it means copy the gb-GB to it-IT and repack all.
Install xml has been changed accordingly.
Installed package and it has chaged just the component side tabs title, not the params section.
What's wrong ?
enclosed either the package than the xlation files only in installer-ready pack
