Is there any way to deactivate the lighbox so my site template can use the one thats on all the other pages but I still want to use the Admiror back end and thumbnails and all? Right now when I click on an image, your lightbox pops up along with the sites lightbox. Or is there a way to disable the lightbox from my site on the page that I have yours?

Im not sure. It was pre-installed with the joomla template I am using. The site uses the lightbox on its home page for a few images at the bottom. But here is the link for the gallery page and you can see what happens. Your gallery will appear on top of the sites lightbox so if you close yours out you will see another.

Edit file "plugins/content/AdmirorGallery/templates/classic/index.php". This file is main file for AG template You are using.

Find line 41:

Code: Select all

$html.= $AG->writePopupThumb($imageName);
Change it to:

Code: Select all

$html.= '<a><img  src="'.$AG->sitePath.PLUGIN_BASE_PATH.'thumbs/'.$AG->imagesFolderName.'/'.$imageName.'" class="ag_imageThumb" /></a>';
This will create thumbs without link to large image and without popup opening.

Changing the code on line 41 did get rid of the pop up but it also eliminated the sites lightbox/popup too so that doesnt work. And installing the new noPopup template didnt work either. Well it work for not having a pop up but it opened up the image in a new window. I still want the lightbox/popup feature to work but only one of them and not both at the same time.

Hummmmm.....

Well you can try to use the original classic template, and only delete the file "plugins\content\AdmirorGallery\popups\slimbox\js\slimbox2.js".

This should do the trick :) Let me know did it helped.

Sorry, but it's hard to give you the exact solution without the option to test it on you template :)
