In the image manager there's obviously a field for the input name value of a given image. Isn't there anyway to have this be printed out in a template (like listed-2col) in order to have separately both a title and a description to the image with therefore different style options (title <bold> and description not...)

In theory yes, but it would require some reworking of description mechanism.

Will consider this for future releases
