didn't want to reply to the "old" timetable topic so here a new one.

I did read that you guys are busy and there won't be much time for development, but maybe it's good to add a request for volunteers topic or something like that. People who like to assist can then respond to it and see if they can be helpfull in any area.

It would also be good to add a Timetable..
Did see that you didn't add a J3 logo to the extension in the JED but in fact you do have a version for Joomla 3.
Did see that the latest Gallery 5.x version is from more then a year ago :(
Aldo it's a beta it shouldn't matter, the important thing is that the development + regular updates etc are on the road.
Another thing is that questions here in the topic do get a respond within a week.

Phew, was thinking of creating a repo on Github to update the current Gallery 5.x version, this as i ran into a few problems when testing and do know how to solve it, but noticed that there was already a repo there: ... rorgallery.

One problem will be if someone will put issues/solutions how long will it take to:
- apply the patches
- create a new version
- post the version to the forum/site/ etc..

It was very hard to find time last year, and that is why we basically halted the development.
I kind a hoped more people will get involved when I setup GitHub project and post it here, but that was not the case.

I agree, volunteers wanted topic sound like a good idea.

But, as I mentioned already, I plan to visit the forum once or twice a week and reply to topics.

For fixes and releases, I still can't commit to a timetable, at least not at the moment.
But I have in mind that having it would be a good thing. I hope that with me adding issues on GitHub, will give me a picture of what needs to be done.

About how fast can the release be provided in case someone provides a fix, it depends on the severity of the fix.
If I need to do extensive testing, than it would take 2-3 weeks, but for small but important fixes it could be a week.
The biggest issue is that I don't have automated tests for AdmirorGallery, and everything needs to be done by hand, on Windows and Linux.
And that reminds me, that is another big task for my to do list.

I see that most of your posts were from June, I'm sorry that I missed you :(

Thank you for all of your contribution, I think you can add issues directly to GitHub if your still using AdmirorGallery :)

Help Admiror Gallery become even better,
give us a review on JED
