I have a category blog, and have run into the issue where, if i click "next" on the gallery while in said category blog, it shifts all of my galleries (in different articles) to show the same set images.

I am developing the site locally, so unfortunately I don't have a link to share. Just wondering if this is standard behavior or a bug.

Are you using any specific extension for category? Some sort of tabifyer? If you use AJAX it might be problematic, because album position depends on query string parameters from URL.

In general, this was a bug in one of the earliest releases, but it was fixed :)

If you use only the plugin, you should use the latest component instead. Plugin for Joomla 2.5 was just to fill in the gap until the component becomes ready :) It is strongly advised to remove the plugin, and install the component.

Let me know if changing to component made any difference.

I'm having the same problem.

I'm using the Category Blog layout to show different galleries. If you click on an image the popup appears but the image set is taken from all the images on the page.

eg. if there are two articles with separate galleries, each with five images, the the popup shows "Image x of 10" instead of "Image x of 5".

You can see the effect here http://www.southcamberley.surrey.sch.uk/gallery

The popup seems to see only a single set of images for the whole page.

(I'm using version 4.5.0 of the software).

Thanks

Graham

Same issue explained here : viewtopic.php?f=30&t=737

This is a bug and it will be fixed in the next release.
