Hello all.

Loving AG and the templates/popups (some don't work for me but I endeavour to help by posting the problems and hopefully nudging fixes through!) - I just need to check out the new version 2.1.... !

My question is this: I know I can have multiple pages each with a gallery, but what I would like for a school website I am creating are FOLDERS. Like you get on facebook etc where the user goes to a single "Gallery" page, and then has the choice of which folder to view and then once in there THEN the view of the photos shows. And of course they can go back up a level with a click on a button somewhere...

Is this currently possible with AG? If not is there another (Free) plugin available somewhere that would let me do this? (I've not found a suitable one while looking).

Many thanks,
Bifford.

We thinking about this for some time :-) , but currently AG doesn't support this.

You can try with http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/photos-a-images/photo-gallery/3150, but when we implement Albums support, came back to us :-)

Best regards and happy New Year :-)

I couldn't work that plugin out - when going to add a category it threw up errors. And it is way too complicated IMO, so I won't use that one.

I like yours because its simple and easy!
For the time being (unless I can find another plugin for the short-term) I shall have each gallery on a separate menu item page. Not the neatest way to do things, but it'll suffice.

Do you have an ETA for the folders?
Nice work on the update btw! :D
