Hi to evreryone, i'm using Admiror gallery on some site from about 3 years; i think it's the beeter image gallery plugin, fully customizable and FREE! :)

Now i got a little problem with a couple of sites, after an upgrade to Joomla 3.4 and Admiror Gallery 5... galleries are really slooooow!?!
Folders and images are the same of my old installation (Jooma 2.5 and Admiror 3), also the server is the same...
The hosting service is a cheap one,i know, but galleries was never so slow before.

Any idea?
Thank you so much.

Can you disable a plugin that adds this code:
Code:
<script type="text/javascript">jQuery(function($){$('.hasTip').each(function(){var title=$(this).attr('title');if(title){var parts=title.split('::',2);var mtelement=document.id(this);mtelement.store('tip:title',parts[0]);mtelement.store('tip:text',parts[1]);}});var JTooltips=new Tips($('.hasTip').get(),{"maxTitleChars":50,"fixed":false});});jQuery(window).on('load',function(){new JCaption('img.caption');});</script>

to your site? This might be problematic.

On the other hand, from clicking the /foto link my browse waits around 9s to get any response, and that is purely server-side .
Can you check your servers PHP log? It might be thumbnail creation that takes some time, but this should be done only when gallery is opened for the first time, not every time.

Also I see you have Facebook integration and some scripts cannot be loaded, can you try to disable Facebook integration and see if it makes any difference.

There is nothing different regarding image display from the previous version of AdmirorGallery. Changes made for 5.0 are only related to back-end security and porting to Joomla 3.x so it shouldn't be related to the gallery, but I cannot be 100% sure before checking PHP log.
