Hello,

I installed your plugin, but I'm not yet able to get it working. I attached three screens to illustrate.
I already changed the width of the columns a couple of times, without effect.
What am I doing wrong, or what can cause this issue.

The site with the example is: http://www.bestemmingonbekend.nl/index.php/boek/mongolie/191-gekte-in-moren-mongolie
Thanks in advance for your help. It's appreciated

Regards,

Jeroen

I see that there is no scripts need by the AdmirorColumnizer loaded on your page, can you check if you have some plugin that regulates what scripts are loaded?
If so you need to add scripts needed by the AdmirorColumnizer to include list :)

These are the two scripts that need to be loaded:
Code:
plugins/content/admirorcolumnizer/scripts/AC_jQuery.js
plugins/content/admirorcolumnizer/scripts/autocolumn.min.js

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. I already see what the problem is, the javascript files are not included in your ZIP file. Is that correct? Could you send me the proper ZIP file, or the seperated javascript files. I'm not familiair with javascript programming, so I hope not that I have to build them myself :)

Code:
plugins/content/admirorcolumnizer/scripts/AC_jQuery.js
plugins/content/admirorcolumnizer/scripts/autocolumn.min.js

Hello there,

I solved the problem. I downloaded the plugin from this forum. This is a different version than the one on ectensions.joomla.org:

Well i got well informed now :) Looks like there is a new version of Admiror Columns :) The one without the files I said are missing.

The one you got from Extensions site had problems, and now new one 2.1 uses simple string parsing, but a trade off is that now you need to
Quote:
"Place ACBR inside Your text to break text into next column."

This is more reliable than the version that was using jQuery and columns plugin.

If the old version is working for you, there is no need to update, you can use it :)

P.S. Sorry for misleading you, I just found out this.
