Hi,

I use a very simple template which doesn't use borders/frames for things like newsflash...I wite all newsflashes in Article Manager, the same way I do with normal articles.

I have tried to frame my newsflash using Admiror Frame but when I save it the coding appears instead of a frame.

Thank you.

Fatima

The plugin is enabled and I've tried what you suggested but it doesn't work.

My site is currently offline so I can't include a link but below is the exact text written in article manager and when I save it, it shows up EXACTLY the same as it is written in the article.

{AF}IT'S AS EASY AS 1,2,3...

1-CREATE A FREE ACCOUNT!

2-MAKE NEW FRIENDS!

3-ATTEND EVENTS & HAVE FUN! {/AF}

If this module is flash based i think it wount work if it is just a module in your site. But u can try this:
Install a joomla plugin http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/core-enhancements/embed-a-include/6958. Then but that module for example into your frontpage article.

Newsmodule: Dont show name and turn it off.

Then use this plugin to load that newsmodule into your article. Example: newsmodule id is 90. Then simply into article but this line wher u want the newsmodule to appear {module[90]}

Worth of Try

Cheers

You have to check if the module is triggering the plugin code. Not all the modules call the necessary functions for the plugin to render properly, this might be the problem.

Vasiljevski is right. Joomla does not trigger the content-plugins when the text is in a module. So it will not work.
