Hi,

I used Admiror Gallery plugin on another of my sites and it worked very well.

I've attempted to use it on the site I'm now working on (Scout Group website) and it will not show pictures when it doesn't want to show pictures!

I uploaded a folder of pictures and it displayed the pics, however, it now refuses to show them. This has happened with other folders that have been there for weeks, suddenly it doesn't want to show them.

Any help would be appreciated.

Gary

Having read through some other topics on the forum I have worked this out.

Some images, including those that were already uploaded, were bigger than 1920 x 768? (Can't remember the actual size) and so wouldn't show.

Why some would "get through" now and again I don't know the answer to it.

Having reduced all pics to 800 x 600 everything is working well

Thanks

This is not related to AdmirorGallery, it is more related to server configuration and GD limitations.
For GD to be able to make a thumb it loads the whole image in memory and then resizes it.
If there is not enought memory, this will fail and there would be no thumbs.

You can check, by using phpinfo() and see how much memory you have at your disposal.
Check this link for more info. http://www.dotsamazing.com/en/labs/phpmemorylimit
