Hi
Fantastic plugin I really like it. I have a problem in that when I click on an image it loads up a new browser window with the image. you can see it in action at http://www.rckeith.co.uk/vc10/vc10build
I've tried switching templates and have it on JAPurity now but it makes no difference. Any suggestions as to what I can try

I am using Phoca Gallery in other parts of the site which is quite good but this plugin fits better with my site.

Thanks

Keith

I would bet on loading of additional motools.js after jQuery.js is load:
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.rckeith.co.uk/media/system/js/mootools.js"></script>

Motools and jQuery are javascript libraries which have similar sintax. This brings to conflict between them. Joomla!, by default, loads motools, so this additional motools is only a trouble maker. If you can prevent it from loading, I believe it will solve this problem.

Admiror Gallery uses jQuery. jQuery has system to avoid conflict with motools, but it must be loaded AFTER motools.

I bookmarked You website. I'm not in models building, but as a kid, I loved this. I can't wait to see Your site when it's done.
If we solve this motools-jquery conflict, You could even use simple_flash template for home page, but if You do, my recommendation is to resize images for home page below gallery frame size.

Hello,

As I can see, problem is caused by com_simplylinks. It load jQuery version 1.2.x causing the conflict with the 1.3.x jQuery version that is used by Slimbox popup.

You could try just to delete the older jQuery from "components/com_simplylinks/js/jQuery.js", my guess is that it will work with the new jQuery, but I can't be certain.

Thanks for your help.

Yes it was simply_links that was causing it. I wasn't even using so I've removed it and all is well. Thank you

Keith
