Can you, please, tell me what version of the plugin you installed?

You can use the option "Arrange Images by". There are 3 options to select, priority, date and name.
Priority - you need to install Admiror Component, and to set priority for each picture using Image Manager.
Date - this options arranges images by date added
Name - is arranging images alphabetically using the image names

You need to have some of latest BETA versions for this 3 options for sorting images. You can find BETA on Forum:

I also installed the sytem yesterday and am very pleased with the results.
I do have a question about sorting however:

Sorting does not appear to work when using sort by name? (which I would like to use).

my files are called jc_0001, jc_0002 etc...
Admiror Gallery 2.1.154 + component 1.7.5
classic template
slimbox

Can anyone confirm that sorting by name is working as it should?
Thanks

Sorry, I cannot confirm it. It did work in former Beta Versions, but in 2.1.154 the sort by name (now called ALPHANUMERIC) does not work, the result seems to be random.

I'm so sorry. This is my mistake. I forgot to change from ALPHANUMERIC to NAME, for parameters screen. You can download 2.1.155 with this corrected.
