Hi,
I'm looking to use your pluggin (listed gallery) but I really don't understand how to load the description file (where, with what, how...)
I'm sorry, I'm a beginner Joomla! user and for me "creat a file" doesn't ring a bell.
If you can explain me a little bit more, or where I can find the info, it would be so much appreciated!!!!
thanks you so much

First, what version of the gallery plugin are you using? Do you have your site online, if you do, can you post a link to it?

You probably have version 2.0, if you downloaded from AdmirorGallery homepage. If that is the case, you should uninstall that version and install the latest release you can find here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=42

After you install the latest version, you need to install the latest Admiror Component, you can find it here : viewtopic.php?f=7&t=52

Now you don't need do create any files, you just need to go to Admiror Component from Component menu, and open Image Manager. Navigate to the folder with your images and select some image, you will get a from for entering description for every installed language you have on your site. After you finish with adding description, open you page with the gallery and you will see description you entered.

Hope this helps,

Regards

Hi, I just updated to the latest Admiror Component and it's working really cool! just one thing, in the Image Manager when I am changing the name from 01.jpg to "This is the description text" the final text in the description of the picture looks like this-is-the-description-text.jpg
Is there any way to the lines and extension will not appear?

Regards

I think that you misunderstood how the component works :)ou can do that by

You don't need to change the name of the image, that is the physical name of the image on you server. Adding lines is security measure for web safe names.

If you want to add description for your image you need to click on the image and you will see something like this:

You need to enter description in the text fields below the image. Default is for default language, under Default there will be as much field as you have languages installed on your site.
