Hey! I'm new to the forum and not sure if this is the right thread.

I've earlier done websites using WordPress but now I've started my first website using Joomla! My website is gonna contain lots of pictures in different galleries and I've already tried few plugins to see which fits the best for my needs.

Admiror Gallery 2.0 was very good for me at the paper, but for some reason I got often pure blank pages and while adding description it complained that I can't add them. Although I thought I fixed permissions correctly.

But I really liked the possibility in AG 2.0 to add descriptions easily from back-end. Then I'll thought that I'm gonna try this beta if it could fix the blank page problems etc. :)

Well, it did. But then I noticed that descriptions stopped working. I was scratching my head for a while before I came to read from this forum that descrptions doesn't work in beta. :P So it was just my silliness not to read before doing anything. But I'm now wondering that why you removed the support for descriptions? It was so easy to update them from the back-end. Doing XML for every image is exhausting job and harder to update afterwards.

Or am I missing something? Is there easier and quicker way? :)

Install AG Component Beta. Component is toolkit for easy AG Plugin managment. It provides Template manager, Popup manager and Image Manager. If permissions on image folder are fine, You can use Image Manager to write image captions.

Component is WIP, so if You got any suggestions join as at Brainstorming subforum.
